Membership

*Who can be a member

An individual person aged 18 and above, who supports the purposes of the fellowship, is eligible to apply to be a member of the fellowship.

*How to apply to become a member

a) Type A member

1. A new applicant or an applicant who is a former member but whose membership has been discontinued is to be offered as Type A member.

2. Application to become a type A member of the fellowship must be submitted to the secretary using an official application form.

3. The application form must be signed by a nominee who is a life member or a type B member and a seconded from any class of membership.

4. The approval or disapproval of an application is subject to directors of the fellowship.

b) Type B member

1. Application to become a Type B member is available to a type A members, who are of Chinese descent with a continuous membership of at least two years, when a vacancy is open for application.

2. Applicants must apply to the secretary using an official application form.

3. Application shall be determined by a person’s seniority in Type A membership.

4. The approval or disapproval of application is subject to directors of the fellowship.

**Classification of members

  1. Initial members- are subscribers of the fellowship.
  2. Life members-the directors may recommended to the annual meeting any person who has rendered distinguished service and /or made substantial monetary contribution to the fellowship be appointed as life member.
  3. Type A members- Any new members who were submitted as member on the date of application approval. They may receive notice of activates and circular resolutions, but not eligible to debate or vote at general meetings.
  4.  Type B members- Type B members shall include all persons, who were submitted as Type B members prior to the approval of directors of the fellowship. They shall have right to receive notice of activates and circular resolutions, and eligible to debate or vote at general meetings.
